St. James & St. Ann’s School is a Catholic elementary school educating students from Kindergarten to Grade 7 in a faith-based environment.

They are a Christ-centered school that promotes the development of the whole child; spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social, and physical.

They offer a wide range of educational experiences. Their academic program follows the New BC Curriculum and their teachers maintain high yet realistic expectations for students. Their teachers are supportive of the diverse learning needs and styles in their classrooms. They have a strong staff that cares deeply about the children entrusted to them.

We have partnered with St. James Elementary school to provide technology consulting aiming to shape the school technology vision and bring it to life. We have helped deploying a new robust business grade internet infrastructure with wifi access points on each classroom to support their computer lab, which we also help manage it.

During our time working with the school, we have been able to implement several educational apps. We also have built cool projects, like the school report cards, the parent participation program system, as well as integrating the system that provides online booking for Parent-Teacher interviews. With the creation of the Thunder News Flash, parents can receive by email a weekly newsletter to read the latest news and events for the upcoming week.

We also have worked on redesigning the school website, so content all over the website can now be easily changed and managed by the school. The new website now has a modern look, it is mobile-friendly and has the ability to list the school upcoming events on their calendar. Teachers are able to post their homework in a daily basis.

We are also helping manage their social media channels like: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+

Our team is constantly looking for new opportunities to take advantage of the use of technology in the school to benefit staff, students and families.
